After success of Bajrangi Bhaijaan- Salman Khan’s Sultan to release in China
Salman Khan’s Sultan to release on 31st August in China. Exceptions are sky high after success of another wrestling based film Dangal
Salman Khan starrer ‘Sultan’, which was one of the highest grossing movie of Bollywood is all set to release in world’s second largest market i.e. China on 31st Aug. Taran Adarsh shared official poster of the film on Instagram.
Already 6 Bollywood movies have been released in China in recent times. Salman’s last release in China was Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Till date Aamir Khan’s “Dangal” is the biggest box-office success in China. While Dangal was given massive 62,000 shows, whereas Bajrangi Bhaijaan was allotted 19,000 shows to release on. Thanks to 3 Idiots and PK, Aamir Khan was already the most recognizable Indian actor in China.
Talking about Sultan, film has already gained some stature internationally. It has bagged top three honours at the Tehran International Sports Film Festival. Salman Khan won the Best Actor and received an honorary diploma in the Long Narrative section, Anushka won the Best Actress trophy and an honorary diploma in the Long Narrative category.Director Ali Abbas Zafar also won an award and an honorary diploma for the Best Director of Long Narrative.
“Sultan” also won the Best Action Movie award at the Shanghai International Film Festival.The YRF film is the first Indian movie to win this prestigious award.
“Sultan” had also received a standing ovation during screenings at Busan International Film Festival.
